The best-kept secret in padel

Oxdog is virtually unknown in the Netherlands. And that's a shame. This Swedish brand produces padel rackets that easily compete with NOX, Adidas, and Head in terms of build quality and playing feel. When you consider what you get for the price, Oxdog offers more value per euro than almost any other brand in our assortment.

The facts, briefly. Oxdog was founded in 2011 in Sweden. The brand originated in the floorball world and has over ten years of experience developing carbon products. In 2022, they transitioned to padel, not with a hastily made product but with a three-year development trajectory. They brought Ramiro Choya on board, a former professional padel player and national coach of Team Europe, to help develop the rackets. In 2024, Oxdog became the official racket of the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP). And in early 2026, รlex Ruiz, number 21 in the world, signed with Oxdog after eleven years with Adidas.

That's not a brand that just haphazardly puts together some rackets. That's serious engineering with serious names behind it.

What Oxdog does differently

Three things stand out when you play with an Oxdog.

HES Carbon. Oxdog weaves carbon in its own way, providing more stiffness without extra weight. The striking surface responds more directly and stably, with less energy loss on impact.

Vibration dampening. Ten years of experience with dampening vibrations in floorball sticks has been directly translated to padel. You hardly feel any vibrations after impact, even on off-center shots.

Changeable weight system. Several models feature removable weights in the head and neck. You can adjust the balance without buying a different racket.

The Oxdog lines explained

Oxdog divides its collection into three main lines.

The Ultimate line is the top segment. These are the rackets with the most advanced technology, the best carbon, and the highest finish. The Ultimate models are designed for advanced to professional players who want to get the most out of their game.

The Hyper line is the high-performance segment for advanced players. Slightly more accessible than the Ultimate, but with the same quality standard. The Hyper models offer an excellent balance between performance and playing comfort.

The Pure line is the entry-level for beginners and intermediate players. Affordable, comfortable, and forgiving, but still built with the meticulousness characteristic of Oxdog.

Oxdog Ultimate Pro+

The Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ is the top model in the collection and the stiffest racket Oxdog makes. This is not a racket for compromise. The HES Carbon striking surface is stiff, direct, and merciless. On a smash, the ball leaves with a speed you feel to your toes. On a bandeja, you get a crisp, immediate response without flex or delay.

The build quality is exceptional. The finish feels premium, the weight is exactly where it should be, and the vibration dampening is impressive for a racket that plays so stiff. But make no mistake: this racket demands technique. It is unforgiving. If you don't hit the ball cleanly, you'll feel it. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ rewards good shots with unparalleled power and punishes sloppiness with immediate feedback.

This racket is for experienced players with strong technique who seek maximum attacking power. If your playing style revolves around putting pressure, finishing points, and dominating at the net, then the Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ is made for you. If you seek comfort and forgiveness, look at the Hyper line.

Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0

The Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0 is the all-around choice from the Hyper line. Teardrop shape, medium balance, an excellent balance between power and comfort.

This racket feels slightly softer than the Ultimate models. The core offers more cushioning, allowing the ball to stay on the face a little longer on contact. This gives you more feel and more control over the direction of your shot. During longer sessions, you'll notice less arm fatigue than with the stiffer Ultimate rackets.

Yet, this is not a soft racket. A smash still generates good power. The Hyper line still delivers serious performance, just with a slightly more comfortable edge. This makes it ideal for players who play three or more times a week and want to go easy on their bodies.

Oxdog Hyper Tour X 2.0

The Oxdog Hyper Tour X 2.0 is the racket that surprised us the most in the Oxdog collection. It offers more comfort than the Ultimate models without sacrificing the direct hitting feel. The core dampens vibrations better, the ball stays on the face a little longer, and after a long session, your arm feels fresh. If you play three times a week or more, you'll notice that difference.

The teardrop shape with balanced weight distribution makes it a versatile racket. On a bandeja, it feels precise and reliable. On a smash, it produces surprisingly much power. It's more comfortable than the Ultimate Pro+ but still stiff enough to generate serious power.

And then the price. You get HES Carbon technology, good vibration dampening, and Oxdog build quality in a price range that normally doesn't offer Oxdog quality. This is the racket with which you discover what the brand has to offer.

Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light

The Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light is the lighter model from the top segment. All the technology of the Ultimate line, but in a lighter and more agile package.

You immediately notice the lower weight in quick changes at the net. The racket responds faster, and you feel like you're always on time. For defensive shots from the back corner, the racket feels effortless. It moves where you want it, when you want it.

The downside is that the lower weight puts less mass behind your shots. On a smash, you'll notice less brute force than with the regular Pro models. But for players who prioritize speed and agility over maximum power, that's an acceptable trade-off.

This racket is ideal for players who play fast, move a lot, and want to spare their arm. It's also an excellent choice for female players looking for a lighter padel racket without sacrificing quality.

Oxdog Pure Tour X

The Oxdog Pure Tour X is the entry-level model for players who want to start with a quality racket. The teardrop shape with a comfortable core makes it accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

The racket feels forgiving. The sweet spot is generous, and the core dampens vibrations effectively. You're not immediately punished for off-center shots. This gives beginning players the confidence to develop their technique without fear of mistakes.

But don't underestimate this racket. The build quality is still Oxdog. The HES Carbon striking surface responds better than many other rackets in this price range. Players who start with the Oxdog Pure Tour X find that their racket isn't the limiting factor as they grow.

Which Oxdog suits you?

The choice depends on your playing style, your level, and what you value most.

You play offensively and have strong technique. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ is the stiffest and most offensive racket in the collection. Purely built to finish points.

You're looking for top performance in a lighter package. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light offers the same technology as the Pro+ but is more agile and arm-friendly.

You play often and comfort is a high priority. The Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0 offers top performance with more dampening. Ideal if you play three or more times a week.

You want to discover Oxdog without immediately going for the top segment. The Oxdog Hyper Tour X 2.0 offers the best value for money in the collection. This is where the Oxdog experience begins.

You are a beginner and want to start well. The Oxdog Pure Tour X gives you a racket that is better built than the competition in the same price range.
