Why we chose these 5 rackets
We test every racket that comes in. Not on paper, but on the court. Each new model is tested at Padelclub Rotterdam. Sometimes we're enthusiastic, sometimes it's disappointing, and sometimes we're surprised by a racket we had low expectations for.
These are not five rackets we chose because they are popular or because a brand asked us to. These are five rackets that we personally stand behind. Rackets that we would buy ourselves and that we recommend to our customers without hesitation.
It's not a ranking. Each racket excels in its own way and for a different type of player. Some seek brute power, others seek comfort for long sessions, and still others want a racket that can do a bit of everything. That's why there's something for everyone.
NOX AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2026: the most complete all-rounder
This is the racket we recommend most often when someone asks us: I want a racket that can do everything. And that's exactly what the NOX AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2026 provides on the court.
The 12K Alum carbon gives the racket face a direct and firm response. You feel the ball, you feel where it's going, and you feel like you're in control. With a smash, the ball leaves quickly and with conviction. With a bandeja, you have enough control to place the ball exactly where you want it. And with a defensive lob from the back corner, the racket feels stable enough to hit the ball deep.
The teardrop shape keeps the sweet spot central on the blade. This means that you're not only rewarded when you hit the ball perfectly at the top, but you also produce a solid shot even with slightly lower contact points. That's the big advantage of a teardrop shape over a diamond: more consistency throughout the session.
The new Alum Xtrem frame stands out due to its stiffness and aerodynamics. During quick exchanges at the net, where you have to turn and position the racket quickly, you notice that it moves smoothly through the air. That sounds like a detail, but it makes a difference in a fast rally.
Our opinion
This is the racket we use most often ourselves when we play. Not because it hits the hardest or gives the most spin, but because it never gets in the way. You can play offensively with it, you can play defensively with it, and you don't have to adapt your playing style to the racket. The racket adapts to you.

NOX AT10 Genius 18K 2025: our best-selling racket and there's a good reason why
The NOX AT10 Genius 18K 2025 is our best-selling racket for a reason. It is Agustin Tapia's official racket and combines everything that makes the AT10 line strong with an extra layer of comfort that makes a difference for players who spend a lot of time on the court.
What we notice on the court
The first thing you feel is comfort. Where the 12K version feels direct and stiff, the 18K gives you slightly more cushioning on contact. The ball stays on the blade for a fraction longer, giving you more feel for where the ball is going. That sounds subtle, but after an hour of playing, you'll notice the difference in your arm and elbow.
The teardrop shape is identical to the 12K version, so you get the same balanced sweet spot and the same versatility. The difference lies purely in the carbon type. The 18K fibers are bundled slightly thicker, giving the racket face more flex. The result is a racket that can hit hard when you want it to, but also protects your arm when you need it.
With a smash, you'll notice that the ball leaves slightly less explosively than with the 12K. But with a bandeja, a vibora or a slice, you feel more control and more spin. The ball grips the blade better and you can impart more effect.
Our opinion
If we have a customer who is hesitant and asks us which racket we recommend if they play two to three times a week, this is the racket we mention. It's comfortable enough to play long sessions with, powerful enough to win matches with, and forgiving enough not to punish you on an off day.
There's a reason Agustin Tapia, one of the best players in the world, plays with an 18K teardrop shape and not a 12K diamond. He opts for control and feel, not maximum stiffness. And if it's good enough for Tapia, it's good enough for us.

Adidas Metalbone Carbon 3.5 2026: the smart choice
The Adidas Metalbone Carbon 3.5 2026 is proof that you don't have to pay a top price to play with top technology. This is the Carbon version of the Metalbone flagship, which means you get the same design, the same technologies, and the same DNA, but in a more accessible and comfortable package.
What we notice on the court
The diamond shape gives you that extra push for attacking shots. You feel the weight higher in the head and with a smash, you notice how that extra mass puts power behind the ball. But here's the clever part: because the carbon type is softer than with the regular Metalbone 3.5, you get that power without the relentless stiffness.
The racket face has more flex. On contact, it feels like the ball rests on the blade a little longer before it leaves. That gives you more feel and more control over the direction of your shot. With a bandeja, that's priceless. You place the ball more precisely and with less effort.
The Spin Blade surface is a technology you really notice. With a vibora or a slice, the ball grips the blade and leaves with extra spin. That's not something you read on a spec sheet and then forget. You feel it with every shot with effect.
Our opinion
This is the racket we recommend to players who are ready for an upgrade towards the premium segment, but who don't immediately want the stiffest and heaviest racket. It's a smart intermediate step. You get 80 percent of the Metalbone experience for a lower price point and with more comfort. And honestly: for most advanced players, that's more than enough.

Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0: the hardest hitting racket we've tested
The Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 is the weapon of one of the best in the world. This is not a racket for the hesitant. It's built to finish points and it does so with conviction.
What we notice on the court
From the first smash, you know what this racket wants. The diamond shape with a high balance directs all the weight towards the head. The result: your shots arrive at breakneck speed. The ball leaves the racket with a speed we've seen in few other rackets.
But this racket is more than just a hammer. What surprised us is how much feel it offers with slower balls. With a bandeja, you have more control than you would expect from a pure power racket. With a lob from defense, the racket feels stable and predictable. Babolat has tuned the core in such a way that the racket not only hits hard but also allows for nuance.
The build quality is immediately apparent when you take the racket out of its packaging. It feels solid, premium, and well-thought-out. The weight, the balance, the finish. This is a racket that has been seriously considered.
Our opinion
We recommend this racket to players who know what they want. If you are an attacker who wants to decide the point with a smash or an aggressive volley, then this is one of the best padel rackets you can buy. It rewards good technique with unprecedented power.
But be honest with yourself. If your technique is still developing, this is not the racket to start with. It forgives little, and the weight in the head requires strength and control.

Siux Electra Pro 2026: the surprise of the year
The Siux Electra Pro 2026 was not on our list when we started testing. Siux is less known in the Netherlands than NOX or Adidas, which means many players overlook this brand. That's a shame, because the Electra Pro positively surprised us.
What we notice on the court
The first thing that stands out is how comfortable this racket feels in hand. The weight is well distributed, the grip feels comfortable, and the racket immediately feels familiar. That's not something you get with every racket. Some rackets have a break-in period. The Electra Pro does not.
The teardrop shape with balanced weight distribution makes it an all-rounder, but one with character. With a bandeja, the racket feels precise and controlled. With a smash, more power comes out than you expect. And with defensive balls from the back corner, the racket maintains enough stability to place the ball deep.
The comfort is excellent. After a session of an hour and a half, we felt hardly any fatigue in the arm or shoulder. The core dampens vibrations well without making the racket feel indirect or flimsy. That's a balance that's not easy to find.
Our opinion
The Siux Electra Pro 2026 is the racket we recommend to players who say: I want a good racket that can do everything, without paying a top price. It's an honest racket. No marketing tricks, no exaggerated claims. It just does what it's supposed to do and it does it well.
