Product Questions

What is the difference between a round, teardrop, and diamond-shaped racket?

Round: large sweet spot and a lot of control, ideal for beginners.

Teardrop: balance between control and power, all-round.

Diamond: top-heavy and more power, for offensive and advanced players.

Which racket is suitable for my level?

Beginners: usually a round, light racket with a large sweet spot for control and comfort.

Advanced players: often teardrop or diamond-shaped for more power and precision.

These are guidelines. There are also pros who play with a round racket, such as Agustín Tapia. Choose what you find most comfortable and what suits your playing style.

Which weight should I choose?

Light 330–360 g: agile and comfortable, less strain on arm; good for beginners.

Heavy 360–380 g: more stable and more power; suitable for players with strong technique.

What does the balance of a racket mean?

High balance (top-heavy): more power, less maneuverable.

Low balance (more weight in the grip): more control and maneuverability.

What is the difference between carbon and fiberglass?

Carbon: stiffer, more powerful and more durable, more precise but less forgiving.

Fiberglass: more flexible and comfortable, more forgiving but less powerful and slightly less durable.

What does 3K, 12K or 18K carbon mean?

This is the number of carbon fibers per bundle in the blade.

3K: Stiff and direct feel, a lot of power and precision, less forgiving.

18K Softer and more flexible feel, a lot of power, requires more technique.

How long does a padel racket last?

For intensive use, this is on average 8 to 18 months. Recreational players who play about once a week often use a racket for 1 to 2 years.
